it was take 2 of Mammoth film festival this year and man was it 🔥. Beside the fact that Antarctica was dropping on our heads all weekend everyone got to enjoy amazing films and fun events. I unfortunately didn’t arrive until Day2 but that was the day of the Action and SciFi shorts, some of which were Sworn, Daddys Playground, and CC. That night was the 80’s ski lodge party sponsored by Tipsy Elves. What could you not love about 80s music and everyone dressed to impress! Lots of dancing and laughing bringing us all together!

Day 3 was filled with lots of great films including The crossover starring Lamorne Morris a Comedy short about a guy named Larry who may or may not have crossed Lebron James which won Best Short Genre Film, Betise staring Robert Evor showing us the realities of stereotyped judgment.. Acquainted (won achievement in filmmaking FEATURE) starring Giacomo Gianniotti, and Laysla de Oliveira sharing a story of two individuals both in relationships but letting their attraction and love for each other lead them into something unexpected, growing and changing their lives for better and worse, Lastly we got to see Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile the Ted Bundy movie starring Zac Efron, it was a different take on the murders from the wife’s point of view, showing the charming, smart, attractive, and confident man that was Ted Bundy as well as the sick and twisted man he denied to be.

After all the films was the Charity Celebrity Bowling Tournament! Now I wish I was actually bowling… maybe next year… but we entertained ourselves watching James Lafferty bowl a not so great game, Lamorne Morris looking suave in his teal and black bowling shirt, and Josh Duhamel bowling 7 strikes.

Day 4 was my final day and I was 💀. But you just have to keep going cause you don’t want to miss everything! The feature film to see this day was Buddy Games which was hilarious! Directed by Josh Duhamel, starring Oliva Munn, Dax Shepard, and Nick Swardson. Duhamel later that night won achievement in filmmaking DIRECTOR for this his Directorial Debut and Best Genre Film at the Awards Ceremony.

The closing night awards ceremony after party was a chance for everyone to let loose and celebrate a weekend of premiers and networking, new friendships, and empowering panels. We cheers’d and danced taking it in as we look to being all together the following year!
