My top 5 must haves in life

Finding things that compliment and motivate your everyday life is so important. Here are my top 5 things that make my everyday life better.

1. Oil Diffuser

Click here to find on amazon

I received my first essential oil diffuser as a gift. I don't think I had ever heard about them let alone throught I needed one. Lets be real sounds like some bougie shit. But man was I wrong. After experimenting with different scents, I started doing 5 drops of eucalyptis and 3 drops of lavender. I turn mine on during the day & when I go to sleep. Its like being at a spa, relaxes me and allows me to focus.

2. Bandolier

The original crossbody phone case

Ok. If you don't know what a Bandolier is then allow me to change your fucking life. A bandolier is a crossbody phonecase with a wallet… yes sounds crazy but its not… These come is all different colors and styles making them very fashion forward and giving you the ability to coordinate with your outfits. They are a little on the pricy side price being around $100 but if you get a classic one like the black with gold chain it can go with everything. Girl this this has changed my life, no more heart stopping moments not knowing where my phone or wallet is, no more carrying around heavy purses everyday. Do yourself a favor, get one! Click the photo to check out their different styles!

3. DIY Gel Polish Kit

There is nothing better than the feeling of confidence you get from getting a fresh manicure. I know you've all felt it, so don't even try and play. Now going to the salon every 2 weeks can get expensive but I have found a great way to save some money! I went to a nearby Nail & Beauty supply and got all the things needed to do Gel manicures myself. I give myself a manicure every 2 weeks, its easy, and its cheap. I now do all my friends nails too! I spent $160 on my initial kit and have saved thousands of dollars over the last 2 years, and I get the fresh new manicure confidence whenever I want! Click the link on photo to see my amazon beauty finds. It will show you everything you will need to get started.

4. A signature scent

Macys is where I started

Ok yes this sounds absolutely ridiculous. I totally agree and I was right there with ya 6 months ago. I never even used to wear perfume EVER. But let me tell you things, after getting mu first bottle of Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, I felt a different kind of way. The act of spraying perfume on everyay having a scent that is so distinctly yours gave me a feeling of being grown.. Like now im on my way to being an independent adult woman. Sounds cheesy, materialistic or like movies have brainwashed me I get it but I dare you… Go to the mall with a friend (not gonn alie I brought my guy friend with me and had him smell every scent and tell me what scent is more attractive.) and have some fun find something that desnt trigger the thought of someone else you know and a scent you enjou since your ass will be wearing it on a jaily. Try it for a month and tell me im wrong.

5.    Apple Watch

5. Apple Watch

People ask me all the time if I like my apple watch… my answer “it's the best purchase ive ever made.” For me my handsare always full when I’m out shoppig at the mall for a show or client. My watch allows me to basically prescreen texts and calls to see if they are important, or to give a quick response while I continue doing what I am doing. Its great for those who use your apple calendar as well! There are a lot of features for those who are serious about fitness I use it everyday to track my calorie burn, workouts, and to compete with my friends and family!

it was take 2 of Mammoth film festival this year and man was it 🔥. Beside the fact that Antarctica was dropping on our heads all weekend everyone got to enjoy amazing films and fun events. I unfortunately didn’t arrive until Day2 but that was the day of the Action and SciFi shorts, some of which were Sworn, Daddys Playground, and CC. That night was the 80’s ski lodge party sponsored by Tipsy Elves. What could you not love about 80s music and everyone dressed to impress! Lots of dancing and laughing bringing us all together!

Day 3 was filled with lots of great films including The crossover starring Lamorne Morris a Comedy short about a guy named Larry who may or may not have crossed Lebron James which won Best Short Genre Film, Betise staring Robert Evor showing us the realities of stereotyped judgment.. Acquainted (won achievement in filmmaking FEATURE) starring Giacomo Gianniotti, and Laysla de Oliveira sharing a story of two individuals both in relationships but letting their attraction and love for each other lead them into something unexpected, growing and changing their lives for better and worse, Lastly we got to see Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile the Ted Bundy movie starring Zac Efron, it was a different take on the murders from the wife’s point of view, showing the charming, smart, attractive, and confident man that was Ted Bundy as well as the sick and twisted man he denied to be.

After all the films was the Charity Celebrity Bowling Tournament! Now I wish I was actually bowling… maybe next year… but we entertained ourselves watching James Lafferty bowl a not so great game, Lamorne Morris looking suave in his teal and black bowling shirt, and Josh Duhamel bowling 7 strikes.

Day 4 was my final day and I was 💀. But you just have to keep going cause you don’t want to miss everything! The feature film to see this day was Buddy Games which was hilarious! Directed by Josh Duhamel, starring Oliva Munn, Dax Shepard, and Nick Swardson. Duhamel later that night won achievement in filmmaking DIRECTOR for this his Directorial Debut and Best Genre Film at the Awards Ceremony.

The closing night awards ceremony after party was a chance for everyone to let loose and celebrate a weekend of premiers and networking, new friendships, and empowering panels. We cheers’d and danced taking it in as we look to being all together the following year!

Check out Mammoth Film Festivals website to stay updated for next year you won’t want to miss it!!
